Egyptian Food Bank and Regional Food Banking Network CEO - Dr. Moez El Shohdi nominated to head Global Food Banking Network

After the success of Egyptian Food Bank and Regional Food Banking Network experience; El Shohdi is nominated to head Global Food Banking Network, in order to transfer the successful model of EFB in the MEA region to other countries.

This nomination came after the success EFB has achieved in serving millions through its different programs (feeding the unable to work, education and rehabilitation of those able to work, organizing the random charity work process and no food waste awareness) not only locally but also globally; which was through Dr. Shohdi’s efforts in displaying this unique model in different international conferences and forums like The UN, FAO, Gain Organization and the universities and CSR conferences in many countries in all the continents.

Last year EFB succeeded to help around 10 million person through the bank programs and it also contributed in rehabilitating around 170,000 family breadwinner and providing 16.6 million monthly packed ready meals within the no food waste program adopted and applied by EFB in cooperation with the Egyptian hotels .
